Yaretzi (pronounced “Yar-et-zee”) Morales is a 21-year-old illustrator and graphic designer based in Chicago. Her work has been showcased in galleries, such as the Arcade gallery, the C33 gallery, and the
Mc Cord Gallery.
Her passion stemmed from making silly comics trying to make her middle school friends laugh. This innocent motive eventually inspired her career. She attended the American Academy of Art for 2 years then transferred to Columbia College Chicago for her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration. ​

Nowadays, Yaretzi is known for her playful storybook illustrations and lively, fantasy concept work. She works both digitally and traditionally, with watercolor being her favorite medium. Her work embarks viewers on a journey. It invites imagination and wonder for all ages. With this, Yaretzi strives to break into the entertainment industry, either as a book illustrator, story artist, or visual dev artist.
